There are a lot of questions around Na nože, especially as a new season approaches. In this article we stick to verified information and clearly separate facts from speculation. Here is what is known today.

A format that holds

The core of the show has not changed since season one. Chef Martin Novák arrives at a struggling restaurant, spends several days there, uncovers the weak spots from the kitchen to hygiene to leadership, and helps fix them. It usually involves sharp criticism, a menu overhaul, sometimes a rebrand, and a follow-up visit a month later. That consistency is exactly why the show keeps its audience.

Five seasons and over fifty episodes

As of today the show has five complete seasons behind it. The latest, season five, aired in 2026 and brought places like Bonanza Ranč in Skýcov, Mavi's in Pezinok, and Smokehouse in Košice. Season five was also where one of the two highest scores in the show's history was handed out, five knives for Oravský Zrub in Nižná.

What we do not know yet

Here we have to be honest. We have no verified information about any further season: neither an air date nor a list of restaurants has been publicly confirmed. Any specific names of places said to appear in a new season would be pure speculation, and that is something we deliberately avoid. As soon as verified details emerge, we will add them.
